I'm a college student majoring in English. I like long walks, books, candy and people. Also, I make a mean bowl of cold cereal.
Do you think my blog title sounds pretentious--like I know Italian or something? Cuz I really don't. I was just trying to think of a catchy name for my blog and I thought of "The Beautiful Life" because, you know, everyone's life is beautiful. And I thought hey, 'bella' is beautiful in Italian and that sounds kind of romantic. So I called one of my returned from an Italian mission friends so he could help translate it for me, and he said that it would probably sound better if I said it "Life is Beautiful" (which, he's right). And I thought, hey, that's the name of a movie, a really good movie that I like a lot, which is maybe the reason my subconscious thought of that name in the first place. So basically this is just a lesson about first impressions. Because, just looking at the title of my blog, you might think that I was pretentious and unoriginal, which I'm not. I promise.
