All Grown Up

I called my younger brother Brent for his birthday:

my little Brent is all grown up!

I'm still young compared to you

yes, but you're all tall and everything

yeah, that makes me superior

hmm, I guess I'm just a loser because I'm so short

yeah, it's okay

a beacon to look to

Lisa always gets so into tv shows that I like to tease her that she is getting a full aerobic workout.

If you didn't get any exercise today, you'll get some tonight.

I'm planning on it. I'll probably wear a sweatband a bring gatorade.

Yes- very smart

I plan ahead.

We could all learn something from you

I think that all the time!

Your humility especially is an example to the world

I know. If more people were like me!

We try. We fail. We try again.

I guess the expectation is a wee bit unreasonable.

Well we never expect to make it but at least we have a beacon to look to

So true--like gatsby's green light at the end of the dock

Daisy, the american dream- these are nothing compared to lisa

I am rather remarkable

I don't know if you should come over tonight- now i'm a little intimidated

Yeah. That sometimes happens. Try not to compare yourself- that's not fair to you

Thanks i feel a little better. I guess it's like trying to compare apples and oranges.

Yeah- if the orange were a diamond.

Hahaha...

No Car, Less of a Problem

Not having a car really, really stinks. But there are a few redeeming benefits. Has someone ever been driving you and some friends home and you secretly wished that you would be the last person to be dropped off because you wanted to prolong the fun as much as possible? This is one of those rare times when not having a car is a plus.
